Reddit has definitely fostered a space for trolls to worship Donald Trump, and given misogynists a bonding opportunity, but it’s also created a huge, supportive network of users that are just waiting to answer literally any question you have about anything. Of course, this can play out in both good and bad ways.
If there’s one particularly beautiful thing about Reddit, it’s the way it encourages communities to gather, sometimes because of the safety found in showing a username instead of a face. Anonymity is a great enabler for self expression, and Reddit is arguably the online world’s anonymous playground.
